Better late than Never?

Sorry that I did not post these past couple of weeks, I had no photos. When packing back at home I forgot to throw in my camera charger, and Diego's went dead and we didn't charge it. Therefore I didn't feel the need to post with no photos. I mean come on, we all know we scroll down to the photos first and then read if we have time.
Well in these past two weeks Benjamin has really had a growing spurt. He HAD been sleeping 7-8 hours and a pretty good scheduled day filled with three naps. It was amazing... while it lasted. He all of the sudden went back to his old sleeping habits from when he was first born. He has been waking up every 2-3 hours again and drinks 7-8oz before going to bed. I am so ready to feed him but Diego is against it since the pediatrician doesn't approve. But he isn't the one waking up in the middle of the night now is he? Although he can also hold his own bottle now which is nice. He takes it out and tries to put it back in and tends to miss a few times and hits himself all over the face, but he eventually gets it or I end up helping him. Baby steps. He plays by himself during the day too. I put him in his play pen with his little gym and he grabs and pulls and smiles. I am really loving this time right now. I am able to do things around the house, get back in shape and enjoy my little baby all at the same time. Before I was just sitting on the couch because he would cry if I weren't holding him. He is really growing, woo hoo! We actually just went to the doctor yesterday and he is 14lbs. and 25 1/2 inches long. I even found him taking pictures of himself the other day, look at the first two pictures below :) haha

Well as for me. I am shredding the pounds and really close to my pre-preg weight. At this rate I will definitely hit my goal of 125 for my brothers wedding in 8 more weeks. Which we are sooo stoked about. I can't wait to go home. Mostly to see my family but also because I know Benjamin will be 6 months old and that is just exciting in itself. A couple of job opportunities have come my way also but I am hesitant right now as I will already take a 3 week vacation in January. I would really like to start working when I get back but we will see how it all works out in these next couple of weeks. Either way I need that 3 weeks at home to keep me sane. As for Diego, he is the same ol' same ol'. He is working here about 5 minutes away for this month for sure and maybe until February and it is amazing! Usually he has to work in the capital but they sent him here to replace another girl for the time being. I wish he would stay here forever but unlikely. We were also able to go out on a date 2 weeks ago, so nice and very much needed :)

Well I wish I had more to say since its been so long but  I have forgotten pretty much everything, I apologize. Although, I will probably post every 2 weeks now instead of every week, we'll see, depends on what happens and how much time I have. Miss you all :)
