Thanks to my mom and brother I will be doing the blog every week again, or at least every 10 days or so. My brother said that just when he started keeping up, I stopped doing it as much. So I shall start keeping up with our lives a little better and take more photos of the little man as well. Fortunately this week I did just that. I have some new news and lots of pictures, woo hoo!!
SO first things first.
Benjamin is starting to put his knees down and get on all fours. He doesn't go anywhere just yet, and sorry to say this but the best way to describe it, is it looks like he is humping the ground. He gets on all fours and moves back and forth. Now you can picture it perfectly, right? Your welcome! haha. He is still practicing sitting also, but falls side to side. We went to the pool the weekend before last and Benjamin had a little hat on and his swim trunks, he was so cute and I didn't take not one photo. I could just shoot myself, his first time in the water and I don't have a single photo, darn it! He is really growing and since I am with him everyday I tend to overlook how big he is, how much he has grown since birth. It is really incredible. I cannot wait until my family sees him in 3 weeks. I remember last year when we went to visit in January, Payton was 6 months and I cannot even remember if she was crawling, sitting, or anything for that matter. I can't wait to see how much she has grown as well, I miss my little princesses.
As for Diego and I, we are busy getting ready for our first Christmas as a family. Diego had his company work party on Friday and he didn't get home until 6am, and then slept until 4pm on Saturday. Thank goodness I am headache queen because Diego woke up with a hangover of course, took some Ibuprofen and we made the rest of the day a productive one! I still have to buy one present for my "secret santa" which is what Diego's family does instead of buying presents for everyone. We draw names and this way you don't break the bank this time of year, you just have to buy one present. And of course I drew the hardest person of them all, Diego's Grandma. Although Benjamin will receive presents from everyone, I can't wait for him to celebrate his first Christmas. It will be more exciting for Diego and I than Benjamin this year, but next year should be a blast. We got Benjamin a little pool for him to play in the water in the summer. I think I might also get him a little something something but I haven't found anything yet. Plus, I know his Nona(my mom) has probably already spoiled him rotten. Well I will be sure to take tons of pictures this weekend as it is Christmas. Hopefully Benji sits this week by himself so I can get a cute little Christmas photo of him by himself.
Have A Very Merry Christmas Everyone, Until Next Week!!
