Creeping up

These have been a fun three weeks for us. We went away the weekend before last. It was nice going to a little town and getting out of the city. I am a small town girl at heart. We went to Benjamin's God mother's hometown. We spent all day out in the sun and it wasn't too hot, so guess what happened? We all got burnt. I put Sunscreen on Benji about every two hours, so he was the only one that didn't get burnt, lucky dog. They have three dogs and Benji followed them around all weekend. People started feeling sorry for the dogs because Benji never stopped chasing them around. They got so tired. Benji even tried pulling out there whiskers, and when they wanted to rest, Benji rested beside them. Everyone keeps saying that he needs a dog, and he would probably really like one but I am not ready to take care of anything else just yet. Plus, we dont know our schedule for moving, so we better not. As soon as he gets home he can have my dog, skeeter. haha.
Benji is really getting big and sometimes I forget how much he has grown up. He can communicate anything he wants now. He understands everything in English and in Spanish. Its amazing how he truly understands the language without gestures. I feel so proud and jealous that he is bilingual. There is a difference between fluent(which I am) and bilingual. Benji will completely understand both. Oh How lucky he is....

Well, Diego and I leave for Salta (another state/province) for the three day weekend we have coming up. Without Benji. I am so excited to walk around and sleep all night. I am going to miss him, but he is staying with his Aba(Diego's mom) so I know he will be in good hands.

Well, we leave for California in 25 days and I am sooo excited to see my family and friends. I am even more excited for Diego. Benji probably still won't enjoy an American Christmas, but Diego has never seen one. When I say an "American" Christmas, most of you, probably don't even know what I am talking about. Let me tell you just how out of the loop Diego is. He has never seen a street full of Houses lit up, let alone Christmas Lane. He opens presents at night and goes to sleep, easily. This night was always about not being able to fall asleep because of the excitement. He has never had a Christmas tree that was as tall as he was. I also want to show him what Christmas is all about, Jesus' birth. Filled with Praying, Christian songs on the TV, and giving thanks to God for bring us his son, to show the example that we are suppose to be for this world. I am so excited for him to experience all these things. He is going to be a kid in a candy store, and I can't wait to see his happy face.
Sooo excited!!
I saw this quote on a website where kids were asked to say what love is to them, and its so cute, I wanted to share it.
Love is what’s in the room with your at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.’.Bobby -Age 7

Well I have tons of pictures, so I will stop blabbering and let them speak for themselves.

Happy Holidays!!!
