and Summer ends....

Happy Sunday, like always :)
....and here we are again. Another week gone by. The last one of summer in Argentina. Although the season of Summer isn't over until March 21st, everyone is back to school tomorrow, or almost everyone. Even Benji. His first day of preschool is on Monday. It shall be a happy day tomorrow. I can't wait for him to start interacting with other children and start using his words. Ok here comes my geeky infactuation with child development, but if anyone knows how important working on your child's cognitive skills, gross, and fine motor skills... haha its me!And I just sometimes don't have the time to work on all of them. I try, and Benji has learned a lot with me at home, but it is time he learns to drink from a cup, from a line and wait in it, share, and have fun. A little part of me misses working with little kids. I got so attached to my fourth graders in 2009, that I still have a frame with their picture in it, and a bracelet some of the girls made me. Kids are so much fun and when they are ours we sometimes forget that everyday they are learning. I know Benji will love it and wave me out the door tomorrow, not having any problem leaving me behind. I will be sure to post some pictures, but for now enjoy some from this week. xoxo
