We rescheduled our flight home for next weekend, the 27th. WooHoo, I'm so excited! Even though my results came back and said that I had Mrsa(a smart king of staph infection), the doctor said I am healing up just fine and should be ready to travel in 7-10 days. Diego is soooo stoked. It will be a month since he has seen the baby and I. And boy has the baby grown in this short month. He weighs 9lbs 10oz now and is still climbing. The formula and pooping every 2 days is probably doing the trick, but today he starts breastfeeding again and the pooping should skyrocket back up to 4-5 times a day. I'm actually looking forward to it :)
Diego is still working on the house. He wants it to be just perfect when we get there. I am excited to see Diego, but I think I am secretly more excited about the idea of becoming a house wife. Probably overrated I know, but I am so excited to be in OUR own home, cooking, cleaning, and taking care of my boys. Although I am sure I will get over the idea real soon. We'll just have to wait and see.
So since I will be traveling next weekend, this means I will not be posting. We will arrive Sunday morning in Argentina and I will have bottles ready so that I can hand over the baby to my In-laws and sleep all day! Sorry if that makes me sound like a horrible mother, but I am tired now and can only imagine how tired I will be after traveling 20 hours with a 7 week old! Plus, he will be getting so much attention that day that he wont even notice I am gone. I guarantee he won't see an ounce of not being held time. Which doesn't help as I am trying to not spoil him too much by holding him every second of the day. However, this is going to be their first time seeing my handsome fella, and I remember what that was like, breathtaking! So I guess it can slide for the first day, since Monday it will be right back to our normal lifestyle.
So in two weeks I will post again and I should have lots of news and pictures of the new house. It will also be my 24th birthday so that should be fun as well.
