Diego's dreadful departure crept up on us way too fast, especially since his departure lasted a whole week, it made it feel like he was here, but he wasn't. We dropped him off at the airport Monday morning the 25th, and he unfortunately didn't get home until the next Monday. Although now that he is finally home and Benji's passport is in, we are all at peace. Even though we were very stressed out, we are happy that Diego is finally home and still trying to set up a house for our new little "Piccione" Family. Speaking of Piccione...
Diego proposed the day after he arrived, and we got married July 22nd. Quick, I know. So I am officially Deidre Piccione.I called him my husband that night; I had to think about it first and when it came out, it felt so weird! We plan on getting married in Argentina also so that we don't have to deal with immigrations in either country.Not just for that reason though, we love each other as well!
Over all Diego had a good time here in the states. He had a couple of first timers like riding in a speed boat, wakeboarding, and huge rollercoasters at Six Flags Magic Mountain!! Besides his son being born, he definitely had some memorable moments.
Well, We can't wait to get home to be united again, the three of us! Please wish us safe travels as we take off Saturday August 13th. Finally we will be with Daddy once again :)
