For with God....

My time here in Argentina has been such a great learning experience. I have adapted very well to Buenos Aires' culture.(I had no choice) I don't want to say Argentina because its not the same in other provinces or even different parts of this Province, so I guess what I mean to say is The Capital and the surrounding area's culture. Its not so safe. Although, Its not dangerous to the point that I think someone will kidnap or kill me, What's popular is pety theft, and lots of it. I know these things happen but I've been fortunate enough not to have experienced it first hand. I hope I never have to. However, If one day I do have to, I have, of course, planned what I would do and I try to always be prepared. But be careful, everyone has a plan until they get hit.
On Monday we witnessed two guys on a motorcycle bash in a car window, and grab a computer that was in the back and take off. It was the first time I had even come close to seeing things. I must thank God for having kept all this from my eyes... until now. Now he has let me know that this town needs some Lovin' and he has put me here for... oh crap, that exact reason! For some reason he thought I was tough enough to go against this big hit. (Have you ever seen the movie the little giants where they're all huddling and the play is to throw the ball to Johnny, and Johnny looks up and says... Wait, you can't throw the ball to Johnny, I'm Johnny! and then starts freaking out... ya that's me right now! I'm shaking in my boots.) But hey, For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37. That scripture is written on my wall, literally. Ok I lied, its a sticker, but it doesn't come off, so that counts, right? ;)
As I try to walk with Jesus and do work in this city I ask that people pray for them. Pray that their hearts open and that they hear the gospel. Thanks ahead of time for your prayers.
But all this isn't the bad news, The bad news is that because of things like this we are leaving in roughly 6 months. We have very little time left here and there is no way to describe the sadness and happiness and all the other mixed feelings we have about this move. Its not easy that's for sure. Someone has to lose and that really sucks. I wish that I could give everyone what they wanted but sometimes I have to remember that all things are temporary here on earth. All Things!
But hey for some of you its good news, because we're moving to California of course. :) What's bad news for some is good news for others. Just like your life. You can be bad news for the devil and good news for Jesus, or vice versa. You pick!
I know that this is what's going to happen and what's suppose to happen. I have so many emotions, but at the end of the day I am so happy. My only hope is that Diego will be too.
